Alternative or Modified Job Analyses

The CRC or board certified vocational expert is usually asked to submit alternative or modified job analyses to the medical provider to determine if an injured worker can perform other jobs based on his/her transferable skills or simply for entry level jobs that require no previous work experience or training. In some situations the finder of fact relies on the CRC or board certified vocational expert’s professional opinion as opposed to a medical provider as to whether or not an injured worker can perform an alternative or modified job in the open labor market.
