This specialized report is provided to workers’ compensation carriers such as the Montana State Fund with copies to the injured worker and attorney if there is one on the case. This report provides the carrier and injured employee with information regarding future employment and wage earning capacity which is based on the following factors: education and training; work and wage earning history; transferable skills; hobbies and avocations; military experience; physical capacity to perform work; prior injuries and their effect on the worker’s ability to perform work; an assessment of return to work potential; identification of employment barriers and what it will take to resolve those barriers; assessment of rehabilitation needed to facilitate return to work.
