Clients have been screened and selected for various types of training programs for the past 38 years. Selection criteria include assessment instruments as mentioned elsewhere on this site including tests of motivation.
Under Montana workers’ compensation law an eight week return to work plan can be written during which time the injured employee will receive their temporary total disability benefits. However, by accepting this plan, the worker gives up all future rights to 104 weeks of vocational retraining that is afforded to them under the law. Consequently, those qualified for training usually opt for this benefit.
